Feltiella acarisuga (Therodiplosis persicae) is a tiny gall-midge that feeds on two-spotted spider mites and other spider mite species. Native to Britain, it can be released in spring before heavy red spider mite infestations develop and is best known for its ability to control the Two Spotted Spider Mite.
Adults mate at dusk; after mating, females lay eggs near spider mite colonies and the larvae eat and kill two-spotted spider mites. Application rates vary by infestation level: Preventative 1-2 per square foot, Moderate 2-4 per square foot, Heavy 4-8 per square foot. It can be used with P. persimilis when infestations are severe to rapidly knock back pest mites; release at the first sign of spider mites and in spring before heavy red spider mite infestations develop.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
