Encarsia formosa and Eretmocerus eremicus are tiny parasitic wasps that mainly parasitize whiteflies. They can be released in the field for whitefly control indoors or outdoors.
Eretmocerus eremicus acts as external and internal parasite, whereas Encarsia formosa acts as the only internal parasite. They are best known for their ability to control Tobacco whitefly (Bemesia tabaci) along with Greenhouse whitefly (Trialeurodes vapariorum). Application rate recommendations for Encarsia formosa/Eretmocerus eremicus: Preventative: 1-2 per square foot weekly Moderate Infestation: 2-4 per square foot weekly Heavy Infestation: 4-8 per square foot weekly. How-To Use: Release these wasps as soon as you see whiteflies in your garden or greenhouse. You should also release them in the evening when temperatures are cooler. The wasps should be released at the base of plants where whiteflies are present. It is important to note that these wasps are sensitive to pesticides so avoid using them when releasing these wasps. Store for a maximum of 2 days at 42-50 °F (6-10 °C).

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
