Red 'Tricia' Dragonfruit Plant is a vining, terrestrial cactus native to Central America, specifically Costa Rica and Nicaragua. It is also known as Pitaya Roja or Red-Fleshed Pitahaya. Its thick fleshy stems grow from a few inches long up to 20 feet, and it produces cosmically cool, night-blooming flowers.
The fruit has red skin and sweet, deep red flesh with many soft seeds.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!
