Introducing the 6.5 ft Long Aluminum Double Lock Channel for Greenhouse Covering Attachment. This USA‑manufactured lock channel is designed to attach multiple coverings to a hoop house or greenhouse, with space for up to six layers between the two connected channels. Use it to secure insect netting, plastic sheeting, shade cloth, or a double layer of plastic to help create a controlled microclimate for your crops. Each pack includes one Double Lock Channel and two Spring Wires, delivering a ready‑to‑install setup for upgrading coverings.
With two connected channels, you can attach up to three layers per channel (20 mils total), for a total of six layers. The profile measures 1 1/8" wide, 1/2" high, and 1/16" thick, with the inside of the channel also 1 1/8". Screws are not included. It mounts to wood or steel structures; pre‑drilling or self‑tapping screws are recommended. It is recommended for installation on the hip board only and is not a replacement for the hip board. Screw grooves aid installation by helping prevent slippage. For comparison, a single lock channel holds up to 3 layers, while the double lock channel holds up to 6; a triple deep channel holds up to 40 mil of film.
