Dalotia coriaria rove beetles are soil-dwelling predators that are effective against fungus gnat larvae, shore flies, shore fly eggs, springtails, root aphids, larvae-root aphids, pupating thrips, and other small, soft-bodied arthropods in and around your rooting system.
Application rates are: Preventative: 1 beetle per square foot; Moderate infestation: 2–4 beetles per square foot; Heavy infestation: 4–8 beetles per square foot. For best results, release as soon as fungus gnats or shore flies are detected and when they are present in low numbers; release in the early morning or late afternoon when temperatures are cooler, at the base of plants where the pests are present, and continue weekly until the pests are no longer present.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
