Cotton Candy Black Finger Grape Seeds Heirloom offers a rare grape seed for home growers. Growth depends on soil and weather conditions, and harvest occurs in August through September.
These seeds yield pale purple oblong grapes with a very sweet flavor. They grow best in zones 7–10. Temperature guidance includes: minimum growth temperature about 12–15 C; lowest ground temperature about 10–13 C; flowering optimum around 20 C; fruit expansion optimum around 20–30 C. A larger day–night temperature swing can improve coloring and sugar content. In spring, if temperatures rise quickly, branches may lengthen and knots may not fill fully, and flowering fertilization may be poorer.
