This product offers 500 citronella seeds from Cymbopogon species, commonly grouped under citronella and including lemongrass. The true citronella plants are Cymbopogon nardus and Cymbopogon winterianus. These tropical, perennial grasses can reach up to 6 feet in height and feature long, narrow leaves about 1 inch wide. They form large clumps, with stems similar to other grasses but slightly wider. The leaves carry a strong aroma that becomes evident when crushed or brushed against.
Citronella oil is produced by steam distillation from the leaves and stems, and the oil is a popular natural insect repellent. The oil is also used in soaps, candles, and perfumes. While citronella plants have some mosquito-repelling properties when grown in a garden, they are not as effective as the concentrated oil. For growing, citronella prefers full sun and well-drained soil and is not frost-tolerant, so in colder climates it is often grown in containers that can be moved indoors during winter.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
