Cherimoya Tree, also known as the Custard Apple Tree, is a celebrated tropical fruit tree. Native to the Andean valleys of South America, it is a small, semi-deciduous tree that bears large, heart-shaped green fruits with soft, custard-like white flesh. The flavor blends banana, pineapple, strawberry, and vanilla cream, and the fruit is enjoyed fresh or used in smoothies, ice creams, and desserts.
Growing Cherimoya offers lush foliage and prized fruit for rare fruit collectors and permaculture gardeners. It grows best in full sun with protection from extreme heat and wind, in rich, well-drained soil kept evenly moist. It favors mild subtropical climates (USDA Zones 9b–11) and is not frost-tolerant when young; in cooler areas, use a large container and overwinter indoors. Hand-pollination is often recommended; grafted trees may bear fruit in 1–2 years, seedlings in 3–4 years.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
