The roof slopes downward and overhangs the 1.125-inch entry hole to shield it from rain, while a drainage slot at the base and ventilation gaps along the top help keep the nest dry and comfortable.
Front panel opens easily for nest checks and seasonal cleaning, and a brass latch keeps it securely closed. For mounting, use the back predrilled holes with the two included screws to post or fence mount, or attach the base to a pole. This cedar house is made in the USA and built to Audubon specifications.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
