Red Cashew Tree with Dual Harvests Fruit
Red Cashew Tree with Dual Harvests Fruit
The Red Cashew Tree is a tropical evergreen native to Northeastern Brazil, celebrated for its striking red cashew apple and its prized cashew nut. It goes by several common names, including Red Cashew, Cashew Apple, Cashew Nut Tree, Marañón, Caju, and Cajuil, and it belongs to the Anacardiaceae family. This tree adapts to a variety of soils and climates, making it a productive addition to edible landscapes or food forests.
The cashew apple is bright red, pear-shaped, juicy, and mildly acidic, with a mango-citrus flavor. It can be eaten fresh, juiced, or used in jams and fermented drinks. Exterior ranges from yellow to red; the interior is juicy, chewy, and somewhat spongy, with calcium, iron, and vitamins B1 and C (vitamin C about five times that of an orange). The cashew nut sits under the apple and becomes edible after toxin removal, prized for its creamy texture and sweetness. The tree has broad, leathery green leaves and a spreading canopy, growing about 15-25 feet tall.

Great product and delivery
Really nice soil and awesome service
Never used because I ordered the wrong Water Filter. Mike was very helpful with the return and refund. Excellent Customer Service.
Great service. Soil is what I wanted and it off loaded exactly where I asked.
Plants are doing really well with this soil. Deep and rich looking soil, plants seem really happy. Much more cost effective (and no plastic bag waste) compared to buying bags of soil mix from a store.
The quality of the craftsmanship is superb! My formula one fan absolutely loves it!!!!
Worked like an absolute charm!
These markers were perfect for ones that we were replacing. The quality is great and they seem sturdy. The gold detail stands out and is visible from a distance. Shipping was very fast.
Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!
Plant was well packed and shipment was very fast. Received a very nice fully rooted plant in the pot!
