Brandywine Tomato Seeds Organic Heirloom is a legendary variety with large, meaty fruit and a rich, sweet flavor. The deep pink tomatoes are suitable for fresh eating, slicing, or gourmet dishes. Each fruit weighs 1-2 pounds. Plants are indeterminate and need staking or caging, thriving in full sun and nutrient-rich, well-draining soil.
This Amish heirloom is classified as Lycopersicon lycopersicum and dates from the 1880s. Vines reach 5-7 feet, with large, semi-flattened fruit up to 16 ounces and deep red color. Days to maturity are about 80. For best results, sow 6-8 weeks before last frost, plant depth 1/2 inch, and space 15-36 inches apart. Gardening Guides available.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
