Bougainvillea is a genus of thorny ornamental vines, bushes, and trees native to South America, from Brazil west to Peru and south to southern Argentina. They are famed for abundant flowers whose vibrant bracts come in colors such as pink, red, purple, orange, yellow, or white. The bracts surround small, tubular white flowers. Plants grow as sprawling, woody vines with arching, thorny branches that can reach up to 30 feet in suitable climates. Leaves are heart-shaped, serrated, and green.
Bougainvillea thrive in full sun and well-draining soil. They are drought-tolerant once established, and a bit of neglect can boost blooming. They can be trained as a climbing vine, a shrub, or a tree-like form. They can be propagated from cuttings. In warm climates they are popular ornamental plants for landscaping along fences, walls, containers, arbors, or pergolas. They are frost-sensitive and suited for USDA hardiness zones 9–11.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
