The Black Locust tree (Robinia pseudoacacia), sometimes referred to as Yellow Locust, is a deciduous species native to the southeastern United States. It typically grows 30 to 50 feet tall and can reach up to 80 feet in optimal conditions, with a narrow, irregular form and a short trunk that bears thorny branches. The bark is deeply furrowed and dark, nearly black in color, which contributes to its name.
Leaves are pinnately compound with 7–19 oval leaflets, dark green in summer and yellow in fall. In late spring, it produces drooping clusters of fragrant white pea‑like flowers that attract bees. The fruit is a flat, smooth legume or pod that matures in the fall and contains 4–8 hard, dark seeds. The tree is adaptable to a variety of soils, including poor, dry soils, and it prefers full sun; it is drought- and pollution-tolerant, making it suitable for urban environments. The wood is hard, strong, and rot-resistant, used for fence posts, furniture, and flooring; its flowers are used in honey production. It tolerates USDA hardiness zones 3–8. Maintenance is relatively low, but it can be affected by pests such as locust borers and leaf miners, and its propensity to suckering can make it invasive in some areas. Its fast growth and nitrogen-fixing capabilities have led to its use in reforestation and reclaiming disturbed lands.

These markers were perfect for ones that we were replacing. The quality is great and they seem sturdy. The gold detail stands out and is visible from a distance. Shipping was very fast.
Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
