Bay Rum Tree for Aromatic Leaves and Fragrance
Bay Rum Tree for Aromatic Leaves and Fragrance
The Bay Rum Tree is a lush, tropical evergreen with shiny dark-green leaves and a naturally spicy, clove-like fragrance. Native to the Caribbean, it grows into a rounded tree or large shrub with smooth bark and dense, glossy foliage that shimmers in the sun. When the leaves are crushed, they release the aroma used for traditional bay rum cologne and herbal tonics. In spring, white flowers appear, followed by tiny dark fruits that add seasonal texture.
Beyond its beauty, the Bay Rum Tree is woven into Caribbean tradition. Leaves are distilled into bay rum fragrance, a classic island cologne used since the 1800s for its clean, spicy scent. Leaves are also used fresh in cooking, infusing soups, stews, and teas with a warming aroma. This tree embodies Caribbean craftsmanship and resilience, connecting the region’s perfume and spice heritage. It is hardy and low-maintenance once established.

Great product and delivery
Really nice soil and awesome service
Never used because I ordered the wrong Water Filter. Mike was very helpful with the return and refund. Excellent Customer Service.
Great service. Soil is what I wanted and it off loaded exactly where I asked.
Plants are doing really well with this soil. Deep and rich looking soil, plants seem really happy. Much more cost effective (and no plastic bag waste) compared to buying bags of soil mix from a store.
The quality of the craftsmanship is superb! My formula one fan absolutely loves it!!!!
Worked like an absolute charm!
These markers were perfect for ones that we were replacing. The quality is great and they seem sturdy. The gold detail stands out and is visible from a distance. Shipping was very fast.
Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!
Plant was well packed and shipment was very fast. Received a very nice fully rooted plant in the pot!
The organic garden soil is doing very well in my garden bed. The company was professional, nice, and accommodating to my needs. They provide many types of things for your landscaping at a reasonable price.
Product was delivered promptly and the quality of the product was very good, as hoped for. I was thrilled to receive the product so quickly! Thank you!
