Oldhamii Bamboo plant, also known as Sweet Shoot Bamboo, is a versatile, elegant clumping bamboo popular for landscaping and edible gardens. Native to Taiwan, this tropical species is prized for its tender, sweet edible shoots and its non-invasive clumping habit as it grows tall.
Its upright culms can reach 50–65 feet, and the thick canopy makes it ideal for privacy screens, living fences, windbreaks, and erosion control in subtropical regions. My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
