Alocasia Frydek and Green Velvet Houseplant
Alocasia Frydek and Green Velvet Houseplant
This Alocasia michoitziana fills your indoor corner with sculptural greenery. You will love how its narrow arrowhead leaves create a striking vertical focal point right beside your reading chair.
You should place it where bright indirect sunlight touches your windowsill daily. Keep the soil consistently damp so your plant thrives, and store it away from chilly drafts to maintain steady warmth. Always set the pot out of reach, because chewing the foliage harms pets in your home.
📋 Product summary:
- Leaf Shape: Narrow arrowhead silhouettes build dramatic vertical lines near your seating area.
- Vein Pattern: Crisp white lines pop against the smooth green surface during daylight hours.
- Underside Color: Deep burgundy hues show on the leaf back as you tend to the foliage.
- Light Spot: Position it near bright indirect glow to fuel steady seasonal expansion.
- Water Schedule: Keep the soil constantly damp to stop fragile roots from drying out.
- Warm Setup: Shield the pot from drafts and cold snaps to preserve tropical comfort.
- Pet Safety: Keep the planter on raised shelves since chewing triggers toxicity in animals.
- Botanical Label: Listed as Alocasia michoitziana in plant guides and widely called green velvet.

Great product and delivery
Really nice soil and awesome service
Never used because I ordered the wrong Water Filter. Mike was very helpful with the return and refund. Excellent Customer Service.
Great service. Soil is what I wanted and it off loaded exactly where I asked.
Plants are doing really well with this soil. Deep and rich looking soil, plants seem really happy. Much more cost effective (and no plastic bag waste) compared to buying bags of soil mix from a store.
The quality of the craftsmanship is superb! My formula one fan absolutely loves it!!!!
Worked like an absolute charm!
These markers were perfect for ones that we were replacing. The quality is great and they seem sturdy. The gold detail stands out and is visible from a distance. Shipping was very fast.
Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!
Plant was well packed and shipment was very fast. Received a very nice fully rooted plant in the pot!
The organic garden soil is doing very well in my garden bed. The company was professional, nice, and accommodating to my needs. They provide many types of things for your landscaping at a reasonable price.
Product was delivered promptly and the quality of the product was very good, as hoped for. I was thrilled to receive the product so quickly! Thank you!
