African Dream Root Plant Silene Capensis
Silene capensis, commonly known as African Dream Root, is a very rare and sacred flowering perennial herb native to the Green River Valleys in the eastern cape of South Africa. It belongs to the Carnation family and features beautiful white flowers. The plant is ground-dwelling and easy to grow, with drought tolerance, but generally requires good moisture and well-draining soil.
For harvesting, wait two years before harvesting the root for spiritual or medicinal use. When planting, be sure to provide adequate room for root growth. Plants are fairly cold hardy and are suitable for containers. Trimming the tops will promote growth. Our African Dream Root is propagated by seed and prefers to grow in a small to medium sized, low-lying habits and can reach up to 2 ft in height.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
