Lipstick Purple Star is a beautiful plant that blooms in hot pink. It tends to have a more upright growing pattern than other lipstick plants. The lipstick plant's botanical name is Aeschynanthus, and these plants are commonly confused with Columnea. Both Columneas and Aeschynanthus have tubular blooms, with Columneas typically having more prominent blooms.
Temperature: 60°F - 80°F during summer, and at least 55°F during winter. Light: Bright indirect light. Water: Allow the soil to dry out between watering. My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
