This 9 ft by 12 ft 5 in hand-knotted rug is made with handspun wool and bamboo silk in beige and brown. It carries a legacy of an heirloom rug with a traditional Persian-inspired design that adds warmth without looking busy, and it features a 100 knots per square inch construction.
Made in Bhadohi, India, one of the region's largest rug manufacturing cities with a rug-weaving history dating back to the 16th century during Akbar's reign; skilled Bhadohi artisans continue the craft. Regular care guidelines include avoiding prolonged moisture, vacuuming or shaking to remove dust, not pulling loose threads, cutting ends with scissors, blotting spills with a white cloth, avoiding harsh chemicals, and using rug protectors under heavy furniture.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
