8 kW Electric Tankless Water Heater
The 8 kW Electric Tankless Water Heater provides instant hot water at 108℉ or higher with no waiting. Its on-demand design heats water only when you need it, eliminating a storage tank and helping reduce energy use. With self-modulating technology, it can cut water-heating costs by up to 50% compared with a typical tank water heater, and its wall-mounted unit is 90% smaller than a traditional water heater.
To install, the unit requires 240 V and a 40 A circuit breaker; please check your breaker panel before purchase. Installation can be installed anywhere as long as cold and hot water pipes are installed in advance. It offers safety protections including high-temperature protection, dry heating protection, and electrical leakage protection, with the electric and fluid systems separated to prevent leakage and corrosion. Compared with the next-largest 9 kW model, the 8 kW unit is 30% smaller and has 3,412 BTU less. Water connections are ½" NPT, and the minimum flow is 0.475 GPM (1.8 L/min).
