These 5x5 Grow Trays With Extra Strength Inserts are BPA-free and built to resist warping or breakage. Made from heavy-duty, food-grade polypropylene, they’re designed for repeated use across years. They’re suited for small batches of microgreens, wheatgrass, and other crops indoors or outdoors, with both soil and hydroponic setups.
Six drainage slits help remove excess water and enable compatibility with flood trays. The 5x5 inserts are designed to be used with our 1020 flats and seed trays, and eight inserts fit into one standard 1020. Note that they do not fit well in 1010 trays, which are smaller and designed to fit two 1020 trays; four 5x5 trays don’t fit precisely. When nesting trays, use trays of the same depth. Store trays out of direct sunlight to prevent degradation. My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
