This 4 ft by 4 ft Pine Wood Raised Garden Bed is manufactured in the USA from North American pine and ships left untreated, making it suitable for organic vegetable, herb, and fruit growing. The open-bottom frame supports root growth, while dovetail interlocking joints let you slide boards into corner posts for a secure, sturdy bed. The system can be connected or stacked to expand your garden, and it rests on a level outdoor space where you add soil and plants to begin growing.
Each board is 11/16 inch thick and 3.5 inches tall. Corner posts are 2.5 inches square with 3.5-inch decorative tops. The full dimensions are 48 inches wide by 48 inches long by 7 inches high, and the unit weighs 27 pounds. Soil required is 10 cubic feet. Pine is rot resistant and left untreated to weather naturally to a silver-gray color; you may seal or stain to preserve the wood.
