This 1 Inch PVC Lock to Half Inch FPT Tee is designed for constant and non-constant pressure outdoor irrigation. It serves as a direct replacement for Schedule 40 PVC fittings, featuring a rotatable, watertight seal created by a special O-ring and stainless steel teeth grip.
The joint pressurizes immediately with no wait time for curing. Optional bevel tool reduces the force required to insert pipe, and an optional removal tool supports easy maintenance and reuse of fittings. It is compatible with Schedule 40 and Class 200 PVC pipe from all major brands.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
