One Inch Blu-Lock Slip Adapter Fitting uses Blu-Lock with a stainless steel retaining ring that grips the flexible pipe from the outside, allowing a quick, easy-to-slide-on fitting instead of endless twisting, heating and sore hands associated with barb fittings.
Blu-Lock is 26% stronger and allows a 25% increase in flow rate. The higher the pressure, the more it grips the pipe. It delivers up to 50% time savings versus traditional barb fittings and up to 25% (compared to traditional barb fittings). Exceeds 300 psi in burst testing and is not for use on mainline or constant pressure applications.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
