Blu Lock Cap 1 Inch is designed for making polyethylene pipe connections in sprinkler systems. It uses a stainless steel teeth grip and a special O-ring to create a rotatable, watertight seal, enabling immediate pressurization with no wait time for joints to cure.
It provides built-in removal for 1/2-in. fittings and an optional tool for 3/4-in. and 1-in. fittings to facilitate easy removal and reuse of components. For valve-out connections only, use PVC-Lock with Schedule 40 PVC pipe for constant pressure applications.

The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
