The Half Inch MPT X Twelve Inch PVC Riser 38091 connects hose bibs, drip manifolds, shrub heads, spray heads, impact sprinklers, and gear-drive rotors to sprinkler lines. Built from UV-resistant PVC, it’s designed for outdoor irrigation and is suitable for both mainline and lateral line installations.
Its thicker wall compared with Schedule 40 pipe provides greater rigidity and a higher pressure rating. The 1/2 in. MPT ends accept couplings to create taller risers for shrub areas, and this riser is available in lengths from close nipple up to 48 inches for flexible installation.

The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping.
