Blu-Lock One Half Inch Barb Adapter for Sprinkler
This Blu-Lock adapter creates secure connections for polyethylene pipe in sprinkler systems. Stainless steel teeth grip the pipe firmly while a special O-ring forms a rotatable, watertight seal that holds under pressure.
The fitting allows the system to be pressurized immediately with no curing time required for joints. A built-in release mechanism supports easy removal of the 1/2-inch size, and an optional tool works for 3/4-inch and 1-inch sizes to enable reuse of fittings. It is intended strictly for valve-out connections.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!
