Le fruit de l'Arbousier vous étonnera par sa saveur fantastique - une combinaison de pop-corn au beurre et de barbe à papa ! C'est un petit arbre ou arbuste fruitier tropical à subtropical à croissance rapide, de taille petite à moyenne, avec de petites fleurs blanches qui ressemblent à celles d'un fraisier. Il produit des tonnes de petites baies rouges comestibles, ressemblant à des cerises, qui mûrissent rapidement. Le fruit du Muntingia est adoré par les oiseaux et les écureuils, mais ne vous inquiétez pas, car il fructifie si prolifiquement presque toute l'année, il y a plus qu'assez de fruits pour que tout le monde puisse en profiter abondamment.
Vous ne trouverez pas ce fruit rare sur le marché, même dans sa zone d'origine, en raison de sa courte durée de conservation. Il est donc indispensable de le cueillir directement de l'arbre et de le manger frais si vous voulez expérimenter cette saveur saine et exotique.
L'arbousier est facile à cultiver et prospère avec peu de soins. La plante a ses racines en Amérique centrale et du Sud, son aire de répartition s'étendant du sud du Mexique, à travers les Caraïbes et jusqu'au Pérou. Le Muntingia calabura est également connu sous les noms d'Arbousier, de Cerise de la Jamaïque, de Baie de barbe à papa, de Baie de Panama, d'Arbre Bajelly, de Cerise de Singapour, de Cerise de Sabah, de Cerise de Panama, d'Arbre à confiture et de Calabura.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
