Le Sapindus saponaria var. drummondii , également appelé arbre à savon, est un arbre remarquable originaire d'Amérique du Nord, utilisé depuis longtemps comme source de savon naturel. Ses baies rondes et dorées sont riches en saponines , des composés végétaux qui moussent dans l'eau et nettoient naturellement, faisant de cet arbre une alternative durable pour le lavage du linge et l'entretien de la maison.
Outre ses fruits servant à la fabrication de savon, le sapindus est un bel arbre à feuilles caduques, à croissance rapide, qui prospère dans les sols chauds, secs et rocailleux, ce qui en fait un excellent choix pour les aménagements paysagers nécessitant peu d'eau et les projets de restauration écologique. Au printemps, il produit des fleurs blanc crème parfumées qui attirent les pollinisateurs, suivies à l'automne de grappes de baies orange brillantes et translucides.
Originaire du sud des États-Unis, notamment du Texas, de l'Oklahoma et de la Floride, le savonnier offre un excellent habitat à la faune sauvage et s'adapte très bien à divers environnements. Son feuillage aéré et sa grande robustesse en font un arbre idéal pour les forêts comestibles, les jardins mellifères ou comme arbre d'ornement offrant un ombrage fonctionnel.

These markers were perfect for ones that we were replacing. The quality is great and they seem sturdy. The gold detail stands out and is visible from a distance. Shipping was very fast.
Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
