L'arbre Rollinia deliciosa est un arbre fruitier tropical/subtropical à croissance rapide, tolérant aux inondations et aimant le soleil, appartenant à la famille des Annonacées , aux côtés de la chérimole et du corossol .
Le rollinia est originaire d'Amérique du Sud. Il est cultivé pour son fruit comestible délicieux et exotique, au goût rappelant la tarte au citron meringuée ! Ce fruit, de la taille d'une balle de dodgeball et à la peau légèrement épineuse, renferme une pulpe douce et sucrée ainsi que de nombreuses graines. Au Brésil, son pays d'origine, le rollinia est souvent vinifié.
Le rollinia est un arbre de taille moyenne à croissance rapide, aux feuilles lisses d'un vert foncé veinées de jaune vif, une caractéristique qui le distingue. Ses fleurs fascinantes sont triangulaires, couleur beurre et duveteuses. Traditionnellement, son bois jaune et robuste est utilisé pour la fabrication de pirogues, de mâts et d'arcs principaux pour le berimbau, instrument afro-brésilien qui tire son nom de cet arbre. Ses fruits sont une excellente source de vitamine C.
Ce fruit se conserve mal, ce qui rend sa culture commerciale difficile. La meilleure façon de savourer ce fruit rare et délicieux est de le cultiver soi-même !

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
