Ce citronnier de Perse (Citrus × latifolia), aussi appelé citron vert de Tahiti, est la variété de citron vert par excellence, devenue incontournable dans les cuisines du monde entier. Plus grand, sans pépins et plus robuste que les autres variétés de citron vert, le citron vert de Perse est apprécié pour sa saveur juteuse et acidulée et sa polyvalence en cuisine, pâtisserie et boissons. Cet arbre vigoureux et persistant est un fruitier prolifique, ce qui en fait un choix populaire pour les jardins familiaux, les terrasses et les vergers commerciaux.
Caractéristiques et utilisations distinctives
Fruits : Les citrons verts de Perse sont de taille moyenne à grande, de forme ovale, et possèdent une peau épaisse, brillante, vert foncé, qui vire au vert jaunâtre à pleine maturité. Leur chair est juteuse, sans pépins et légèrement moins acide que celle des citrons verts Key, avec un goût vif et acidulé, idéal pour de nombreuses utilisations culinaires. Les citrons verts de Perse sont parfaits pour être pressés dans des boissons, garnir des plats, préparer des marinades et relever les desserts. Leur taille plus importante et leur absence de pépins les rendent particulièrement pratiques au quotidien en cuisine.
Feuilles : Cet arbre arbore des feuilles vert foncé et brillantes, persistantes toute l'année, ajoutant une touche luxuriante et vibrante au jardin. Son feuillage aromatique dégage un parfum frais d'agrumes lorsqu'on le froisse.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
