Le Monstera deliciosa, aussi appelé plante gruyère ou philodendron à feuilles découpées, est une plante grimpante vivace très ornementale, originaire du Mexique tropical et d'Amérique centrale. Cultivable aussi bien en intérieur qu'en extérieur, elle est très prisée pour ses fruits exotiques et constitue une plante d'intérieur tropicale unique. Le Monstera produit de grandes fleurs blanches spectaculaires qui donnent naissance à un fruit tropical délicieux, au goût rappelant la mangue, la banane et l'ananas. Cette plante à croissance rapide ne demande que très peu d'entretien.
Son nom vient du latin « fenestration », qui signifie « anormal », en raison de ses feuilles étranges et perforées, souvent percées de trous. Robuste et magnifique, la vigne Monstera possède de grandes feuilles brillantes et découpées qui peuvent atteindre une taille impressionnante de 60 à 120 cm. Les jardiniers s'émerveillent devant le déploiement spectaculaire des nouvelles feuilles en seulement un ou deux jours. Cultivée en extérieur à l'ombre, la Monstera prospère pendant de nombreuses années. Elle peut avoir un port buissonnant, mais elle s'adapte aussi très bien aux grands chênes grimpants.

Cette plante ne se contente pas d'embellir votre intérieur, elle mérite aussi une place de choix dans votre jardin potager ! Le Monstera produit un fruit rare et délicieux, très prisé pour sa saveur tropicale unique. Il est important de laisser le fruit mûrir naturellement avant de le consommer. Placez-le debout dans un verre pendant 2 à 3 jours. À maturité, la coque extérieure écailleuse, non comestible, se détachera d'elle-même, révélant une chair tendre et savoureuse.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
