La Basella alba, ou épinard de Malabar, est une magnifique plante grimpante comestible annuelle (ou vivace de courte durée) à croissance rapide et aux couleurs variées. Originaire d'Asie du Sud-Est et d'Inde, elle possède des feuilles riches en vitamines, épaisses et charnues comme celles des épinards, avec une saveur et un croquant légèrement supérieurs. Sa tige est d'un rouge éclatant et ses ravissantes petites fleurs sont d'un rose pastel.
L'épinard de Malabar est une plante qui apprécie la chaleur et la sécheresse, se développe particulièrement bien en sol sableux et nécessite très peu de nutriments pour prospérer. Non seulement il constitue une excellente alternative estivale aux épinards et autres légumes-feuilles, mais nous le considérons comme une plante estivale essentielle dans toute forêt comestible ou jardin en permaculture. Nous le plantons sous les arbres fruitiers et le long des clôtures pour un magnifique effet tropical et ornemental.

Worked like an absolute charm!
These markers were perfect for ones that we were replacing. The quality is great and they seem sturdy. The gold detail stands out and is visible from a distance. Shipping was very fast.
Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again. Hoghly recommend this shop.
