Le Hoan Ngoc (prononcé « Juan-nak ») est originaire du Vietnam. Il prospère sous la chaleur et à mi-ombre. Facile à cultiver en pot, il suffit de maintenir le terreau humide et de lui apporter régulièrement de l'engrais pour un résultat optimal. Cette belle plante aromatique pousse en hauteur et se ramifie pour former un petit buisson. Elle peut atteindre 1,20 à 1,50 m en pot et constitue une magnifique plante d'intérieur. Son feuillage jaunit légèrement durant les hivers floridiens ; si vous la cultivez en pot, rentrez-la lorsque la température descend en dessous de 10 °C. Le Hoan Ngoc apprécie un arrosage régulier ! Vous pouvez l'arroser jusqu'à deux fois par jour pour maintenir le terreau humide, mais pas détrempé.
Les feuilles de cette plante médicinale sont utilisées depuis longtemps dans la médecine traditionnelle thaïlandaise et vietnamienne pour traiter divers troubles digestifs . On lui attribue des propriétés antimicrobiennes et anticancéreuses ; elle contribuerait à soulager l’inflammation de l’estomac, les affections cutanées, le cancer du système lymphatique, le diabète, l’hypertension artérielle, les maladies cardiaques, les migraines, l’inflammation du foie, les douleurs utérines et l’inflammation rénale, tout en apportant un soutien nutritionnel général. Elle est utilisée dans la cuisine thaïlandaise, notamment dans les salades, les soupes et les sautés. Elle prospère dans les zones de rusticité USDA 10 et supérieures. Elle préfère une exposition mi-ombragée. Elle craint le gel et doit être cultivée en intérieur ou en serre dans les régions au climat froid.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
