Zone de rusticité USDA. Le cassia est un très bel arbre à fleurs qui pousse dans les zones 9 à 12 (USDA).
Période de plantation : du printemps à l’été en zone de rusticité 10a, du printemps à l’automne en zone de rusticité 10b-11, toute l’année en zone de rusticité 12+.
Semez. Faites tremper les graines dans de l'eau tiède (60-80 °C) pendant 48 heures avant de les semer. Semez-les dans un sol humide, à forte humidité et en plein soleil. Recouvrez-les de 2 à 3 cm de terre. Les plantules lèveront en 3 à 7 semaines.
Soleil. Tous les cassias préfèrent un emplacement ensoleillé et un sol bien drainé.
