L'érable à fleurs, également connu sous le nom de mauve indienne à nervures rouges ou de lantana chinois, est un arbuste à fleurs à croissance rapide prisé pour ses délicates fleurs en forme de cloche et ses feuilles profondément nervurées ressemblant à celles de l'érable. Bien qu'il ne s'agisse pas d'un véritable érable, son nom vient de la ressemblance de son feuillage avec celui des érables, combinée à l'abondance de ses fleurs vibrantes qui pendent comme des lanternes, se balançant doucement à chaque brise. Originaire du Brésil, il appartient à la famille des hibiscus et des gombos. Les fleurs sont comestibles et ont une saveur légère et sucrée. Elles peuvent être consommées crues ou cuites.
Cette beauté à feuilles persistantes produit un flux constant de fleurs riches en nectar pendant les mois chauds, généralement orange, corail ou pêche avec des nervures cramoisies, et attire les colibris, les abeilles et les papillons. L'érable à fleurs prospère dans les climats chauds, ce qui en fait un favori pour les jardins tropicaux, les parterres de pollinisateurs et les cultivateurs en conteneurs dans les zones USDA 8 à 11.
À croissance rapide, avec un port dressé et buissonnant, l'érable à fleurs peut être façonné en petit arbre, en plante de patio ou en haie à texture douce, et il fleurit presque toute l'année dans les zones sans gel. Dans les climats plus frais, il se comporte magnifiquement comme une plante en pot qui peut être hivernée à l'intérieur.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
