Le figuier 'Olympian' ( Ficus carica 'Olympian' ) est une variété de figue résistante au froid et exceptionnellement sucrée, sélectionnée pour ses performances dans les climats plus frais, tout en étant suffisamment luxuriante et productive pour prospérer également dans les régions plus chaudes. Originaire de l'État de Washington, l'Olympian produit de grosses figues à la peau violette et à la chair rosée et sucrée, tendre, juteuse et savoureuse.
Ces figues sont excellentes à déguster fraîches, mais elles se prêtent aussi très bien au séchage, à la mise en conserve et à la préparation de desserts. L'arbre commence à fructifier très tôt, souvent dès la première ou la deuxième année, et peut produire deux récoltes par an dans les régions plus chaudes.
Grâce à sa croissance vigoureuse, ses rendements élevés et sa résistance au froid jusqu'à -18 °C, la figue Olympian est idéale pour les producteurs des zones 6 à 10, notamment ceux du Sud-Est, du Nord-Ouest Pacifique et des jardins intérieurs où de nombreuses autres figuiers peinent à s'épanouir. Autofertile et facile d'entretien, elle s'adapte aussi bien à la culture en pot qu'à la plantation en pleine terre.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
