Le Symphytum uplandicum, également connu sous le nom populaire de consoude, est une herbe vivace originaire d'Europe. Il fait partie de la famille des myosotis et est peut-être l'une des herbes médicinales les plus connues et reconnues.
Le Symphytum uplandicum est une plante herbacée à feuilles velues, qui possède de petites et magnifiques fleurs en forme de cloche, de couleur bleu-violet. C'est une plante à croissance rapide qui nécessite un sol riche en azote. La consoude a une grande racine noire ressemblant à un navet qui est souvent utilisée à des fins médicinales. Les parties fleuries de la plante peuvent également être utilisées. Comme la consoude est une plante très productive, les plantes matures de cette espèce peuvent être récoltées plusieurs fois par an ! Veuillez noter que la plante a de fines poils sur la tige qui peuvent irriter la peau, il faut donc porter des gants lors de la manipulation des plantes vivantes.
La consoude est une excellente plante à cultiver dans votre jardin en raison de sa capacité très efficace à servir d'engrais vert ! Parce que les racines de consoude pénètrent profondément dans le sol, elle accumule de grandes quantités de nutriments. En fin de saison, broyez vos plantes inutilisées, y compris la racine, et mélangez-les à votre sol pour aider à fournir les nutriments nécessaires.

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far.
