L'avocatier Monroe est une variété très recherchée par les amateurs de forêts comestibles et d'arbres fruitiers pour ses qualités exceptionnelles. C'est une variété tardive, qui arrive généralement à maturité entre novembre et janvier. Cette variété est réputée pour ses gros fruits savoureux, pesant souvent entre 680 et 1130 grammes chacun. La peau de l'avocatier Monroe est épaisse et ligneuse, offrant une excellente protection à sa chair riche, crémeuse et au goût de noisette, très gorgée d'huile.
L'avocatier Monroe est un arbre vigoureux et dressé, capable d'atteindre une hauteur considérable, ce qui en fait un excellent choix pour ceux qui souhaitent diversifier verticalement leurs forêts comestibles. Il est également résistant au froid, contrairement à d'autres variétés d'avocatiers, bien qu'il prospère davantage sous les climats chauds. Il fleurit principalement au printemps, offrant de petites fleurs jaune-verdâtre.

Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!

My new babay arrived safely and only lost two little leaves so far. The first one I ordered from different shop arrived with two leaves attached that fell off within ten minutes of unboxing and 22 leaves that had came off during shipping. So glad she arrived looking as beautiful as i was hoping. Also had a surprise red arrow syngonium cutting that’s beautiful. Also customer service was amazing. Will definitely order from them again.
