Organic Crustacean Meal Fertilizer for Gardens
Organic Crustacean Meal Fertilizer for Gardens
Organic Crustacean Meal Fertilizer for Gardens is a natural fertilizer derived from the shells and exoskeletons of crustaceans such as crabs and shrimp. It is also known as crab meal or shrimp meal. The product contains calcium, nitrogen, and essential minerals that are released slowly into the soil. The calcium content supports plant cell walls, and nitrogen contributes to chlorophyll production, making it suitable for young seedlings, flowers, and vegetables that need steady nutrition.
When considering high-quality soil amendments, crustacean meal is kiln-dried and ground into a fine powder. Its composition includes nitrogen 40%, calcium 12%, and magnesium 1.33%. It is valued for its high chitin content, which supports soil microorganisms that feed on chitin and can help suppress soil-dwelling pests like grubs and other insects. It also helps fight root rot, powdery mildew, and blight and provides slow-release nutrients for beds prepared weeks before planting.

Great product and delivery
Really nice soil and awesome service
Never used because I ordered the wrong Water Filter. Mike was very helpful with the return and refund. Excellent Customer Service.
Great service. Soil is what I wanted and it off loaded exactly where I asked.
Plants are doing really well with this soil. Deep and rich looking soil, plants seem really happy. Much more cost effective (and no plastic bag waste) compared to buying bags of soil mix from a store.
The quality of the craftsmanship is superb! My formula one fan absolutely loves it!!!!
Worked like an absolute charm!
These markers were perfect for ones that we were replacing. The quality is great and they seem sturdy. The gold detail stands out and is visible from a distance. Shipping was very fast.
Good solution. The little flies have disappeared. We were sure to mist/moisten the surface of each plant once a day for 4 or 5 days, after the initial application of the nematodes, to keep the little guys mobile and able to get to any remaining eggs. So, go for it!
Plant was well packed and shipment was very fast. Received a very nice fully rooted plant in the pot!
